MSHA TRAINING

MSHA Annual training is required by MSHA to be completed each year. The training is 8 hours of classroom training. We customize this training to your training plan to ensure that you are compliant.

PEC SafeLand USA

The PEC Basic Orientation safety awareness course includes both SafeGulf and SafeLand USA. PEC Basic was designed to take place of multiple Operator orientations and to give each student a general idea of life and safety issues in the oil and gas industry, upstream, downstream, onshore or offshore. This one-day program meets API RP 75 & API RP T-1 requirements. It provides a basic awareness level of certain general safety information that an employee should know before entering a company facility and while performing their assigned work duties. The majority of the leading oil and gas operators accepts this orientation as it meets their requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, each student is issued a picture ID with a unique barcode. This training is 8 hours of classroom training.


OSHA

10 hour/30 hour Construction and General Industry
OSHA Training provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. Through this program, workers can attend 10-hour or 30 hour classes delivered by Alpha Safety US OSHA authorized trainers. The 10-hour class is intended for entry level worker, while the 30-hour class is more appropriate for workers with some safety responsibility.


Confined Space

This class covers Identifying Confined Space, Proper Equipment, Hazard Training, Permit Required Confined Space Program, Personnel Responsibilities, Procedures, OSHA Requirements, Rescue and Emergency Services. This course is approximately 2 hours.

Examples of workers who need confined space training include firefighters, constructions workers, maintenance technicians, building engineers, lab technicians, welders, pipeline workers, HVAC technicians, emergency response personnel, and many more.


H2S Awareness Training

Hydrogen sulfide is one of the leading causes of workplace gas inhalation deaths in the United States, H2S training about safe work practices and H2S hazards is vital for oil and gas workers, or anyone who works near or in proximity to hydrogen sulfide gas. This H2S training course was designed to comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, ANSI Z390. 1 Accepted Practices for Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Training Programs. The course is approximately 2 hours.
